Certified Installer Course Selection

Installers must take the certification course that corresponds to their intended use of the product. Choose the appropriate course below to become certified and enable the installer permissions necessary for setting up a smart panel system.

Note that installers can become certified for both uses by taking both courses. 

Solar and Storage Training
Take this course if you are using a smart panel to improve the performance of your battery backup in a grid outage. The smart panel can insure the loads do not trip the inverter or prematurely drain the battery.

Panel Upsize Avoidance Training
Take this course if you are using a smart panel to avoid installing additional electrical capacity after installing new loads. This is the correct choice if you need to limit the calculated load on an electrical service.
